brilliant hotel, fantastic service, polite friendly staff, and the gourmet food was just fantastic, and the service in the dinning room was faultless all thanks to Gemma who seemed to be in complete control, and even though we had a late deal we would be more than happy to return and pay full price it was a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE (well... more

The Carousel was just fantastic. My fdather and I had a great holiday there. We had a twin room - rather hot on a sunny day but desk fan made all the difference. The room was beautifully furnished and had all that we needed. It was cleaned well every day and the large quality bathroom was just great. The staff... more

I stayed here with two teenagers and was generally very pleased with the hotel and its location. The location was ideal being a ten minute walk the quieter side of the Pleasure Beach. It looks as if the rooms have recently been refurbished and to a high standard. Everything worked and was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the... more

Went with 10 friends for a night out to celebrate my 20th birthday and a friends 19th. Picked this hotel because it seeemed less tackey than the others on hotel.com. The price was good, the hotel was nice and a reasonable distance from the attractions although we used a taxi. There is some parking available which was important to us... more

We moved to this hotel following an absolute disaster at a hotel the night before on the next block north. This was a breath of fresh air. The manager and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities top notch and the room very clean, modern and comfortable. We had our 2 daughters with us (1 and 4 years) and... more

The hotel offered parking right outside which was useful - we parked there on arrival and forgot about the car for the whole weekend. Inside, reception staff checked us in quickly and were very helpful indeed (we had no idea where to catch the trams into the main town and how to purchace tickets for them, e.g.) Our room was... more

We stayed at The Carousel in early Oct 08 When we arrived the lobby was bright and the staff were very welcoming, we were given a room with an ocean view on the 3rd floor. The accommodation is first class, the rooms were well decorated, the bathrooms were also good. The beds were really comfortable with plenty of bedding and... more

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be away from the bustle and crowds but only a short tram ride away from the tower and all entertainment, although saying that not too far from the fairgound, walking distance. Lovely hotel very clean and staff very nice, I would have liked some entertainment or music in the nights... more
