Stayed at the stretton for 5 days, as in the other reviews, the hotel is rather dated now, the foyer and dining room are excellent, the food and the restaurant staff are the re-deeming features of the hotel, well-cooked food,good menu choice and excellent waiter service.

The rooms are not very good, one guest staying in Room 126 compared it to a broom cupboard and on seeing it, I quite agreed with that comment, the room I was in was clean, but in need of re-decoration, no air-con and the room seemed to be hot even with the window open and radiator off.

On the day of leaving i thought it would have been nice if the management had said "it was nice to have you stay with us and come again", but nothing, just took my payment for the bill and that was it, no "thank you" for being a guest with them, unlike most other hotels in blackpool and around the world I have stayed.
