Second visit to the Avenue, and won't be the last either. Would highly recommend staying here if you're thinking about spending a night or two in Blackpool. Gordon and Chris make for excellent hosts with their warm and welcoming approach, also mixing it up with a bit of jolly banter. Our room was particularly impressive, massive shower, walk in wardrobe... More

Had a lovely stay at The Avenue. We just spent one night here and we loved the warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and quiet. I had a great nights sleep. Chris and Gordon were so friendly and even sat up with us in the bar so we could enjoy a few glasses of wine and... More

Impeccable B&B. Impeccable Hosts. What do you want from any B&B you choose to stay in? I can honestly say that this place has it all. My girlfriend and myself spent two nights at The Avenue, having gone to Blackpool to see a gig at the Empress Ballroom. From the moment we arrived, things were perfect. A parking space was reserved for us, (I walk with a stick), and Gordon and Chris greeted us with tea, coffee and the friendliest chat you could imagine. We immediately... More

Having recently visited the Avenue, I cannot speak highly enough about this B&B. The place was spotless - rooms & communal areas, & had a really friendly & great atmosphere. Gordon & Chrissy, were unreal hosts. Their hospitality was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble, & they made us feel so welcome, & really took care of us.... More

Despite having the day from hell thanks to the local water board, Gordon and Chrissy could not have been more obliging, helpful and friendly on our arrival. They made sure there was room for our big van on their forecourt and made us tea and coffee straight away. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like we'd known them... More
