I stayed in the summer 2011 and I wasn't too impressed by the outside although nice inside and generally nice hotel. Staff were helpful too. Our room was nice too but I would've liked a room with an en suite shower which our room didn't. Television channels were ok, nothing interesting. Also the music was old fashioned, I'm a twenty... On arrival I was very pleasantly surprised. First impressions where nice and clean, very friendly and helpful staff from reception, bar and when having breakfast and tea. I stayed in a sea view single room. Again nice and clean, warm, comfy bed and a great shower. Everything you need inc tv and coffee. Bet this hotel was really great in... More

We have been going to the queens for 8 years now just for the new year package. There are about 13 family members who attend each year. This year was the first "official" year of the hotel well and truly belonging to a new company. We loved the fact that the hotel was family run and would be excited to... More

Started going to the Queen's for New Year 1995, it has been like one big family, the floors creeked and the food was generally excellent, with well known stars to entertain even though they returned ever other year [ you new what was comming next]. This year the creeks have subsided the entertainment was the best there has ever been... More

I am sorry that you were offered Beef for your evening meal when you are vegetarian. We have a complete vegetarian menu and had you asked you would have been offered a choice of vegetarian dishes. The hotel is not dirty and there is plenty of hot water. If you do not speak up at the time and advise the... More

Stayed for one night when we went to see Bill Bailey. Great to have parking available. Was a little surprised when we checked in to be told that we would be attending for breakfast at a specific time - not something I have ever experienced before when staying in a hotel, hostel or even holiday camp. The room was a... More
