We stayed here for one night it was cheap but had all the basics needed it wasn't the cleanest but the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was tasty. The rooms were ok for a one or two night stay but probably not for longer. Would recommend if cheap and basics is required.

Myself, my partner and 9 year old son came to Blackpool for a ‘thrifty’ 3 day break. We found the Lucena Hotel online and read the reviews so we guessed we should expect a basic B&B. We stayed in a family room with ‘Sea View’. When we arrived we were slightly worried as the hotel is well situated just off... More

This was a last minute booking. The hotel itself was quite run down and had very dated decoration. The host was incredibly friendly and we could not fault the service that we received! Breakfast was 10/10 and absolutely delicious. The room was comfortable, but not the ritz, so if you're looking for 5 star accommodation then this isn't the hotel... More

My wife and I stayed one night over the weekend and this hotel was really good value, location is so close to shopping and quiet in the evening, room we had was great with a separate toilet and a separate shower, bed was comfortable and very clean linen and breakfast was excellent, checking in was smooth and the staff very... Brilliant value for money and a superb breakfast. The host was lovely and so helpful. The well decorated communal area was very inviting and we spent our evenings down in the bar area in a relaxed atmosphere. They were also very child friendly. The breakfast were very busy as the hotel was full but we still received a really good... More

Stopped here this week for a 1 night stop with the family, taking our Son to Blackpool (and myself) for the first time. All in all, i can't complain, was a pleasant overnight stop, wasn't in the room for very long. Breakfast was fine, nice, warm and friendly staff and was well cooked. a nice experience to start to day.... More

We stayed for 1 night, we had a family room and the room was good enough for us, the television didn't work properly, breakfast was good In the morning, I do think it was abit over priced as it cost is £111 but the hotel was very dated and could of done with abit of modernising but over all ok

We only booked in for one night and we couldn't find fault, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the hotel is in a really good location, not too far to walk to the tower or the pleasure beach. Owners friendly, the only two downsides are there is no parking, and it's a fair walk to the carpark and tinned mushrooms... More
