Accomodation hunting in Blackpool was proving a nightmare. Everything looked so dated and the hotels I phoned were not very helpful. All the staff at the Vidella were lovely. Got their and couldnt find a parking place so had to pay £12 to park in a council car park, only stayed for 1 night and didnt enjoy it. No parking available. The room stunk of stale smoke and was generally unclean. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, i had springs in my ribs all night. In the morning we were greated by a large black beetle in the shower. Very disappointing. more
