I booked this hotel on the strength of the positive reviews and I cannot find anything to criticise the hotel and staff about during our stay. I have been visiting Blackpool since 1974 and I have stayed in good and bad hotels over the years. The standard of service, food and entertainment was excellent and if this is the norm I... more

Myself and my husband had our wedding breakfast and evening reception at the Cliffs Hotel on the 13th June. As soon as we arrived the staff were more than happy to cater to all our needs, if any of our guests had a problem they were very prompt in resolving the situation. The food was delicious and plenty of it,... more

Been to the Lakes (Patterdale and Keswick) hotels many times...first tripto the Cliffs for a bargain priced weekend. Reception staff very helpful - rooms available much earlier than expected - all clean and comfortable. Meals were excellent - plenty of choice, and prompt but not rushed service. Being North of the town meant it was peaceful, but tram stop outside... more

Our room on the first floor was good size for us (2 ad 1 ch) but cold think this was due to original sash windows... more

Quiet location as it's North of all the piers and tower. Not a problem if you don't mind walking a bit and there's a tram stop right outside. A no frills hotel that felt like being in Butlins, full of families, children and older people. Didn't really hang around in the hotel much but there was a disco in the... more

We had stayed at the Cliffs twice before and enjoyed it but never again! The overall standard of the hotel has dropped immensely - the rooms are cheap and cheerful but the door locks are particularly flimsy. The swimming pool was freezing - we couldn't take the baby in - even the jacuzzi was cold but the attendant just shrugged.... more
