Room very dirty, dust everywhere. Toilet had not been cleaned wee marks on seat, toilet paper still in. Carpet not cleaned. Very small, asked if we could move to another room, but was told they were all the same. Bed very comfy though. Breakfast would have been nice if it was hot. Can put up with it being dated but... Great place to stay the staff are very helpful the breakfasts are awesome and the location just a bit away from the main tourist area. The beach is close within walking distance and there are a number of local takeaways. Parking is not a problem as the roads are not zoned for a waiting period. The bar is good with... More

Arrival and check in all ok, owner friendly enough, just in need of a good wash! The rooms were ok, however the beds were very uncomfortable so consequently we all had a terrible nights sleep! Breakfast was a fiasco even though we had preordered, one sausage one slice of bacon had to wait for my beans to cook, what?! Tea... More

We stayed for one night here the room was spotless and breakfast was wonderful the staff were polite and helpful. The only negative comment I could make was the decor in stairwell was scratched and worn but this in no way effected our stay. One to put on the great list in Blackpool.

In the quieter North Shore area of Blackpool, the family-run, The Brayton overlooks Gynn Gardens a grassy park with childrens playground, and the Promenade. During the Illuminations, a stretch of the lights are visible from the hotel (2011 - 2nd September - 6th November inclusive). There is free on-street parking, generous cooked breakfasts and cosy en suite bedrooms. The individual rooms at The Brayton each have a private bathroom, and hospitality facilities with mineral water and biscuits. A ground floor room is also available. Many rooms have LCD TVs with Freeview, and all feature complimentary toiletries. Travel cots and bedding are available on request for the family rooms at a charge of £3.50 per cot per night. High chairs and baby/toddler cutlery are also available in the restaurant. A 2 or 3 course dinner menu is also available by prior arrangement. Packed lunches can also be arranged. The Hotel is ideally situated for Promenade access by foot or tram or car - one minute's drive so ideal during the Illuminations. On request, a free shuttle service to the town centre is available for large groups. The Brayton can also offer secure covered storage for bicycles/motorbikes for guests.
