went with a friend to this hotel as part of a coach trip ,it is a fair way away from centre of town but tram and bus stops are located just a little way from the hotel and if you wanted to walk around the corner to the paper shop an all day ticket on the trams and buses costs... More

Visited here for the first time with my partner, it was lovely! The room was clean, and very cosy. The staff are very pleasant and always there to help. Breakfast was very nice. It may be a tram ride into town, but it's well worth it. Would recommend this to everyone who enjoys a nice break in nice company.

The room we had was on the north side of the hotel at the front on the second floor. The room was dowdy and the furniture was cheap an tatty. The noisy heating system kept waking us up at night. However food was good and staff were friendly. Would not return though.

Just got back from staying at this hotel, Monday till Friday with David Urqhuart Travel. Paid £150 for the whole trip inc travel, food & accommodation. So for the money, was really pleased all round. Upon going to room, was pleased with our twin room, although on small side it was clean, tidy, quiet at night, decent decor, all in... More

My wife and myself stayed for Monday to Friday from September 29th on a Just Go holidays coach trip, Tony the driver from Chiltern Travel was very helpful and informative and looked after us marvellously all the week. We arrived at the same time as another coach but the check in was quick and efficient. Our twinbedded room on the... More

Blackpool has a lot of hotels so you would expect it raises the standards but I'm not so sure. Chequers hotel did just what it said on the tin a reasonably cheap place to stay the night of the illumination switch on. Hotel is dated, the cleanliness of the room let it down the most (found someone else's sock under... More

The Hotel staff were very helpful, the room/bedroom was kept clean daily..The only comment was the bath room was very very small and then washing you had to leave the bathroom door open,I beleave not suitable for large or disabled persons A chair would have been welcome to put your clothes on when going to bed,no chair in room..

Well just got back from this holiday, room was ok and the food was excellent but Oh dear the so called bathroom was dreadful, couldn't swing a cat in there, the only way you could get a wash was by sitting on the toilet and use the basin for washing at the same time , you had to put the... More

Generally good. Meals above average although the waiter service could improve.I only took advantage of the entertainment on Tuesday and Wednesday and enjoyed it especially Nicole on Wednesday. (Cheers from Santa) The 5 day holiday was with Eclipse Tours with day trips to Liverpool and Lake district. The Driver ,Steve, was very helpful and informative throughout. I would use them again.
