We stayed at The Dukeries as it was close to The Wintergarden and we were going to watch the world matchplay darts championship. We didn't know Blackpool at all, and chose this hotel online from reading other reviews. The hotel is very oldy-worldy which we loved. The room was clean with all you need - tea/coffee, ensuite. The bonus was... More

This is a really nice clean hotel facing the winter gardens so about a 10 min walk to the front of Blackpool, there were 9 girls so they placed 8 of us on the same level and the other girl on the 3rd floor this was only because she had booked her room after us as this was a last... More

Travelled to blackpool at the drop of the hat and found this lovely little hotel on booking, com, when we arrived we were met by a very nice gentlemen who checked us in and told us the price we had been quoted wasn't correct and turned out £15 cheaper nice suprise. The room was basic but very clean with tea coffee... More

This place just gets better and better. I can never understand the negative reviews of this establishment. The owners are very kind and can't do enough for everyone that stays here. Doesn't matter if your a youngish group of friends, couples, elderly, they welcome everybody with open arms. Everybody has their opinions and entitled too but in my eyes the... More

Our twin room was tiny, the decor was outdated and The walls we're dirty. Shower was so mouldy, my 13 year old refused to use it! The side of the bed had a huge stain on it. The bedsheets were clean and the breakfast was nice, but not huge. I'm really sorry to say this is our 8th visit to... More

Thank you for your review regarding your recent stay. We're sorry that there was an issue with your room, we have arranged for this room to be re-decorated this week. The coffee stain on the side of the bed base had already been treated however the residual mark is permanent. We will be having it re-upholstered. With regards the noise,... More

Comfortable room, pleasant breakfast, polite and friendly service. Parking is a bit limited, but that's the only real negative. It's very conveniently located if you're going to events at the Winter Gardens.

Very well located near Blackpool Tower. Rooms are tired, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic, with a great selection of continental options and a delicious cooked breakfast. Will certainly return.

We are rather disappointed with your rather unfair review. We appreciate that there was a disturbance at midnight from a couple in the room above, however the guests had been in the room less than half an hour and as soon as we received your complaint to reception we dealt with the incident immediately and were not aware of any... I have been going to the Dukeries for nearly 10 years now and would not consider anywhere else. The location is superb and Marilyn, Dan, Simon, Debbie and their staff are excellent hosts. Standards never drop and get better every year as they are always striving to make improvements. No easy task in this economic climate. There are now lovely... More
