I stayed at the blue moon in October 2014 and even though it was very plain and simple it was comfortable and the staff were excellent. My room was clean and tidy with a great bathroom which looked new. The only issue was a squeaky bed but that didn't bother me too much. To be honest I didn't stay in... More

We stayed for one night to see the lights. In a room double bed and a single en suit shower and toilet. When we first arrived the door was answered by a scruffy looking man in a football t shirt with holes in it. He wasn't very welcoming. He showed us the room and I asked about the hairdryer he... We stayed here for 2 nights in a family room and were amazed by the value for money! We were warmly greated on our arrival and shown to our room. The room was basic but clean and did have a ensuite bathroom and tv. The breakfast was good with cereals, toast and cooked breakfast to choose from. The location was... More

First impressions when we arrived were bad and it only got worse. The area was run down with derelict buildings in the street boarded up windows. After ringing the doorbell we were met by what can only be described as a workman (think it was the owner though). He proceeded to show us to our rooms the smell was damp... More

I was amazed with the level of hospitality and number of facilities that we got here for the price we paid. Me and my boyfriend stayed over for one night when we were heading to see Dylan at the Opera House. We paid £35 to book a double with en suite online. When we arrived we were given a warm... More
