We stayed here on a "Sparkling" bargain break for one night in a de luxe room. It overlooked the beach and sea, both grey but quite attractive in the afternoon sunshine, which brightened up our large room. This was just as well because the room was rather drab and shabby, if adequately furnished. The en suite was adequate, if a... More

I joined a large reunion party of around 400 people, 340 of us who sat down to a 3 course dinner. Very good food, superb service and a great fun evening. What impressed me most was the staff and their attitude. From the time I arrived they were extremely polite and friendly, whether at the Reception Desk, in the Bars,... More

My wife and I have just enjoyed an overnight stay at the Imperial. The hotel itself is beautiful and steeped in history everyone from HRH The Queen Mother to the Beatles have stayed here. You are just outside the hustle and bustle of central Blackpool but, within walking distance. For those less mobile the busses and trams stop right out... More

I had to stay for a week due to a conference so as a result rarely had time to leave the hotel. The most important thing I noticed was every hotel employee would said hello and good morning/evening, it actually made you feel as you where wanted rather than a client. Would highly recommend The Imperial Hotel either for pleasure... More

I have just signed up to Trip Adviser & this is my first review, the reason I felt compelled to do this is Alison Gilmore the General Manager of The Imperial Hotel Blackpool. After an initial problem with our booking through the hotels parent company website we got a phone call the day before we were due to stop at... More

My partner and I stayed here in April for a week and overall we were quite pleased. It's handy for the tram and is only a short ride away from the pleasure beach, tower, shopping centre etc We were informed that we had to pay for parking and instead opted to park just outside on the street for free to... Stayed here on the 10th May 2015. A Grand Victorian Hotel right on the sea front in Blackpool. Arrived about 3pm there was plenty of parking and check in was polite and efficent. The lobby is largely wood panelled with lots of high back leather chairs and chesterfield sofas, continueing the stylish victorian theme. Our room was on the first... More

Enjoyed the room given it was spacious and had everything needed, fridge, iron mirrors controllable heating and character. Was a little worn in places but the quality of staff and food etc made up for the tired decor. It was worth the money and was sad to leave after our six day stay. Loved the breakfast buffet and the restaurant.... More

Stayed for 1 night in a twin room. Room was really big and comfy. Two single beds. Big TV. Bathroom also a great size. Seafront view and promenade. Room service was pretty much 24 hours and good selection of food from the menus. Was tasty and staff friendly and efficient. My only issue was that breakfast wasn't very pleasing. We... More

Dear Kimmyjb, It is wonderful to read that your stay here exceeded your expectations from your room and food to the service you received. I am however sorry that breakfast was not up to our usual standard as we usually get such positive comments in this area. Thank you for sharing your experience with us and hope to welcome you...
