This hotel brings class and style to blackpool, we stayed for two nights for a birthday treat and had a great time. It's not modern but classy, yes the furniture is a bit tired but I didn't want a bland hotel but wanted one with character which is what the imperial gives you. Breakfast was excellent, staff very friendly and... More

We had a fantastic week in the Imperial. The staff are wonderful, the food is great and the location is perfect too. We ate breakfast which was plentiful and very well cooked and also ate in the bar and the restaurant which were equally as tasty. Our only complaint? The dining room is absolutely awful in the mornings - far... More

We managed to get a good rate for 2 nights at the imperial. We were a little apprehensive as we unsure what to expect, we needn't had worried. Lovely room, nice comfortable bed with lovely fresh white bedding & big fluffy towels. Good tea & coffee facilities. Nice modern bathroom. We even got a sea view although the window was... More

I work for a hotel booking agent and booked in here for 4 nights with my girlfriend and daughter. Staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough to help! Special mention to Carrie on reception who was particularly great. Table D'Hote menu 3 course meal had great variety and portions were perfect enough to fill you but not leave you... More

Dear Craig M, I'm thrilled to read your review on tripadvisor, thank you so much for taking the time to pen your thoughts. You're right we are very lucky that the scaffolding has been erected with care to protect as much of the sea views as is possible and that the facilities within the hotel are not affected. Glad you... More

I stayed at this hotel with my partner and children. The room was very nice and all needs were catered for.The staff were friendly enough but the restaurant staff were fantastic!!! especially Teraza who went above and beyond the call of duty she couldn't do enough for us and took the time to chat to our children. Excellent weekend topped... More

A Grand hotel with character and charm with friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable and, the quality and variety at breakfast was excellent. This hotel is excellent value for money in a great location with access to several local amenities and transport.

Booked for two nights with full breakfast and also booked spa sessions. The hotel has plenty of parking (£3.50 a day) and is having work done on the front so lots of scaffolding up. Inside it is a grand old hotel with wooden panelling, ornate fittings and a calm friendly atmosphere. Staff were all friendly and helpful, the hotel itself... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Really lovely staff who were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself has lots of character and is quite dated in places....but we liked that! Our room was very comfortable. The breakfasts were more than adequate and must say I took full advantage!!! Delicious! It is about a 10-15 minute walk into the town but... More

If clinical and ultra modern with fake wood and tiny 'designed' rooms is your thing then don't stay at The Imperial. If you appreciate characterful buildings with plenty of history, plus a touch of ageing splendour and friendly helpful staff, then The Imperial is a great place to stay. The sea view room presented us with amazing sunrises and sunsets.... More

Dear Guest, Thanks so much for your kind words on tripadvisor. I have to agree that the character and history of the hotel is just of many great things about the Imperial. We've been welcoming famous guests since our first famous resident, Charles Dickens in 1867 and every one of our resdients is as special. I'm so pleased you enjoyed... More
