We stayed here on a two night break to see the lights. Yes, the hotel is lovely and it does need a good refurbishment. The thing that got to us the most was the noise that came from their function rooms. When we booked we specifically asked for a quiet room. Having a licence to hold wedding is great but... More

Couldn't fault anything about our three night stay - the room was ideal for myself and two teenage daughters (premium family), the food was excellent and the staff pleasant and always helpful. The hotel has a very good location facing onto the sea and we enjoyed the view and some walks along the front. If you want to go to... More

Have just got back from a 2 night stay at the Imperial and we had a lovely time. The decor of the hotel is dated and a refurbishment is overdue! However the hotel is clean, comfortable and otherwise well maintained. The food was tasty and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. The real jewel of this hotel though is... More

Last weekend was the third time we have taken our Grandsons aged 10 & 8 to Blackpool and this hotel, which, incidentally, both of which they think are "epic",but then they are Southeners!Whilst I can't fault the staff, they are friendly & helpful,I was a little disappointed in our room this time.We upgraded to a suite at an extra cost of £100 to give... The Hotel itself is a little bit tired but I do understand that a refurbishment on such a Grand building would at these economic times be quite excessive. However we did enjoy it and were pleasantly surprised with the food standard. Overall worth visiting; it was sad to see Blackpool so empty in the middle of August on a hot... More

This hotel is obviously being updated and has scaffolding outside and therefore customers need to take this into account. I intend to visit when it is complete to see if I can award the other star, Visited with my grown up daughter staying overnight while at a show. Check in was easy and all staff including the cleaners was genuinely... More

We stayed at Imperial Hotel on Sunday 24 August, family group taking 3 rooms, one of which was a suite which was fabulous. The building itself is quite old but had character. The staff were very helpful and friendly couldn't do enough for us and the food was very enjoyable, particularly the breakfast. The swimming pool was clean and well... More

Didn't know what to expect, prior to arriving at the hotel reading the reviews, it may be a old Victorian style hotel and have scaffolding up but inside was beautiful. Had a lovely spacious family room, excellent cleanliness, No wifi in bedroom, On the plus side food was excellent but service was a bit slow and disorganised, staff were very friendly.... More

It may be an old building and have scaffolding out the front but inside was beautiful. Room clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. We only have breakfast which had every thing you could imagine, my only issue I would have preferred hash browns to the potato choice.

Booked at this hotel for the bank holiday weekend and I must say what a disappointed stay it was. I wouldn't pay £100 per night for this hotel. You better off booking a deluxe room/sea view room at a nearby guesthouse/bed& breakfast accommodation. I thought I'd pay a bit more for a 4 star hotel so me and my husband... More
