Never in my life have I experienced anything like staying at this 'hotel'. I pride myself in being a polite & bantery person. After a general polite greeting....we were met with having our iron confiscated & told that 'people burn holes in the floor'. After assuring Gary the owner that I know how to iron i was made to iron... More

The hotel is great, the owners are very polite and helpful they would go out of the way too help you asking you if everything is ok with your room or if you wont anything . Staying here is like home from home. I would definitely stay there again, the rooms are very clean and big , and the breakfast... More

Lynne And 'Big T' are quite possibly the most hospitable hoteliers I've ever met! They were so kind to us and looked after us! It's safe to say we were a rowdy bunch at breakfast time but Lynne became like a mother to us! The hotel has everything you need for a simple night or two away! Breakfast was lovely... More

Arrived in Blackpool and didn't have anything booked so this hotel had rooms available. Now that I've looked we were charged £60 yet on the site the price is £50. The room was not worth £60 at all. The bed wasn't even a double, there weren't enough towels, not even any soap in the shower. The guy was nice when... More

I stayed for the weekend recently whilst at the Blackpool Magicians convention in February. Having previously experienced a total nightmare in another establishment, I was pleasantly pleased with this hotel. It was very clean, in fact my room was spotless. The breakfasts were lovely, the coffee good and the owners friendly and welcoming.

The Walford provides simple, straightforward accommodation at a very reasonable price on Albert Road, right in the heart of Blackpool's shops and attractions. You'll get a clean room, a comfy bed, hot water for your shower in the morning and a very decent, filling breakfast. If that's pretty much all you need, then the Walford is the perfect choice. We came to Blackpool looking to rent/buy a house and needed somewhere as a base. Found this hotel on the internet and decided to try it for a few days. A few days became nearly a month because there was no need to change to a 'better' base. The service was very, very good. Lynne, Gary and Gail made our... More
