I feel that I should warn others about booking this Hotel, I have stayed in many Hotels around the world and can honestly say that this is the worst i have ever come across. We came to Blackpool for a concert and booked a double and a single room. We were absolutely horrified when we saw them, not only were... more

I sayed at the clifton for three nights and can honestly say I have never stayed in a worse hotel in all my time, I would tend to be away on business at least once a month so therefore have stayed in various hotels. The man complaints I would have was with the standard of the room. Firstly there was... more

This hotel could be beautiful with a load of money thrown at it! Its in a good position and the building itself is nice, but unfortunately the rooms are not nice at all! Green 1970s bathroom suites, our toilet was broken and it seemed easier to try and fix it ourselves than get the staff to deal with it, there... more

It was a while ago now that we stayed here but I jsut thought I would give you my experience of the hotel. Cost £160 for two nights and the room was absolutely awful - facing inwards towards a brickwall, pigeon netting and the associated mess that goes with it, hole in bathroom door, hlaf bath dating from about 1960... more

I recently stayed at the Clifton Hotel and i have to say that it was a pleasure. The staff were polite and friendly, The hotel was clean and warm. And considering you are on the seafront and walking distance to pubs and clubs, it was very quiet. I would definately stay there again. If i had to give it one... more

A despicable hotel that had so much promise. Great location absolutely dire rooms . If they are on the inside you get a fabulous view of pigeons and their delightful toilet habits. The lift is a relic from some age when velociraptors roamed the beach eating donkeys. The dining room is fabulousley decorated , the staff are indifferent to the... more

Booked this hotel with some trepidation after reading many of the reviews here, but could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Check in was speedy, even though I arrived almost two hours before the official check in time, and the receptionist was friendly and professional. I had booked a single room, (got it for £25 per night for three nights,... more

We haven't had a holiday for three years whilst getting our business off the ground. This was to be our annual holiday. The kids ( 13 and 15 ) had never seen Blackpool illuminations and we decided to spend the night rather than going home in the traffic. I booked the hotel over the internet. We arrived after a 4... more

If you MUST visit the latter-day Gomorrah that is Blackpool (and the only possible reason would be compelling and unavoidable business, because pleasure could never be expected in this foul hellhole of a town) then you could do worse than the Cliton. This is not because it is good, or even remotely acceptable, but because, in this dreadful place, it... more
