Stayed at Norbreck Castle 22/08 to 25/08/14. I booked what was described as an "Entertainment Weekend" at this hotel. One night had a reasonable act for 45 minutes, the other two nights consisted of singers who sang six songs, followed by loud disco music. The music was put on with nobody left to look after it. We were in a... More

This hotel is in very poor condition. The queues for reception and meals are unacceptable. The food is terrible. Fried sausages for breakfast. Bacon all stuck together. Soup watery. Worse than any school dinners I ever had. Everywhere needs modernising. Entertainment for about half an hour. I would not stay there again unfortunately There is a post office and shop... More

Stayed one night with family after going to pleasure beach for the day. The hotel from reception to the room had a dirty smell about the hotel. The bar area next to restaurant was filthy food on the floor bar still has beer from night before. Our room was just like as if you had gone to a charity shop... More

Just back from stopping here with husband and 2 Grandchildren. I was concerned regarding some of the reviews on trip advisor however upon forwarding my concerns to Norbreck I was assured enough to continue with our stay. The hotel looks impressive from the front and very typical of a Blackpool reception. Our check in went very swiftly, whilst stood in... More

When we arrived at the hotel there was a long queue at reception. Only two staff appeared to be helping customers. There were others behind the desk but they didn't appear to be doing much. We arrived about 8pm and were waiting for around 25 mins before being seen by someone at reception. In this time someone actually pushed in... More

Filthy dirty, stinking toilets , no tap tops, mouldy bathroom, 3 channels on TV from Noah,s era incompetent staff , fire alarm ran constantly for two hours, no staff to advise the worried customers whether there was ,a fire, long queues for breakfast ,checked out after one night , the north pier in a sleeping bag was the better option

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Disgusting, smelly, filthy, dated rooms, bathrooms are even worse! The whole place is an evil time warp back to the worst part of 1979! Oh and dont leave anything in your rooms because the house keepers like to go through your stuff and steal the odd bit or 2! Better off sleeping in the... More

I booked a 2 night stay with my Husband and 2 children with late rooms, the room we were allocated at a glance looked ok however with closer inspection we saw there was black mould around the window, paper was peeling from the walls, there were clumps of hair sat on the top of the radiatior, at night there was... I think most reviews on here are unfair. Its an is what it is type of hotel. I holiday there twice a year and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Value for money is fantastic. The food is just average and the rooms are not fantastic. That considered if you have children there is nowhere else like it! The hotel is not... More
