I have given it 1 star because I can't give none! Pros - breakfast, helpful receptionist. Cons - Room was so cold I had to sleep in my clothes, the house wine is simply dreadful, the room was quite dirty and the sheets had stains on them, the shower was a dribble, the 3 course evening meal was brought to... You don't go to a 2nd hand car dealers with £100.00 and expect to buy a Bentley,so don't expect The Ritz london when you book into the Savoy. We paid £60.00 for b&b 2 people for 2 nights which was a bargain. On arrival we were greeted with a smile from the girl on reception. The room was a good... More

My partner and I had booked a double room for two nights, arrived and were stuck right at the top of the hotel with a fire glass window. It was dark and dingey and the only other window was in the bathroom, bit opened about 2 inches before it hit a drainpipe. The final straw was when using the shower... More

if you wish to book into a sauna then this is the hotel for you. The temperature in the rooms was unbeareable at times. Don't whatever you do jump onto the bed as you will break your back. It the without doubt the hardest bed I have ever attempted to slept on. The decor is like many hotels in Blackpool... More

We stayed at the Savoy in October half term. We have not left a review until now as we had hoped the management of this Company would respond to the letters of complaint, with photographs that we sent to the hotel, the Complaints dept and finally the MD; the latter hasn't even had the courtesy to acknowledge receipt. The hotel... More

If you want 5 star Ritz go to London pay £1800 a night and enjoy your stay, however if you want a real hotel with staff that really care with a company that offers superb value... More

I stayed at the Savoy for a dance weekend. We ate and danced in the same suite and our food was served to us at the table. I enjoyed the food, but I know that other people in our group didn't. I enjoy potatoes in their skins, but there was a comment of 'I don't eat potatoes like that'. The... More

Would have prefered to stay at very wet rock concert - facilities better and probably cleaner! Fairly certain that kitchen staff have had no training and are certainly not issued with head covering judging by the amount of hair we found in our not very hot food. Starters and continental breakfasts left out on side in dining room for everyone... More
