Stayed at the Savoy Hotel for a four night break with CoachHoliday.com from monday 25 August 2008.Did request a seaview room and I think that made all the difference. It was an up graded room with a jacuzzi bath. Furniture and decor seemed to have been updated fairly recently. Overall a good hotel room. The breakfast was buffet style, very... more

We wondered on arrival why full pay was taken at check-in, but maybe we should have been warned by this. This place was filthy. Nothing was wiped. The bedding was dirty, the tables in the restaurant & lounge were dirty. The windows were disgusting. Our toilet was dirty. The staff were friendly but just not trained. The decor was very dated.... more

My partner and I stayed here for one night on 18th of August. It was ,well, interesting. At £65 for DBB I wouldn't complain. It's a bit run-down but the staff are nice, particularly the restaurant staff who work very hard and handle the largely elderly clientele with great patience, despite the fact that some of them are crotchety and seem to be confusing the... more

Really enjoyed our stay at the Savoy, room 221 is a good-sized family room with one separate bedroom and a large bathroom. Not much of a view but the interior is well decorated and was very clean. Beds were made and towels changed every day. Breakfast was good, self-service and plenty of choice. We ate at the bar one night... more

My grandchildren and myself along with a friend I cared for have just come back from the Savoy Hotel Blackpool after a 5 day break. I had read some of the reviews and was a bit apprehensive but we had an excellent time. The rooms were roomy, very, very clean with maid service, so clean towels and a general tidy-up... more

We booked at the Savoy Hotel for my father's 65th birthday. The day before, we were told we'd been transferred to the Norbreck Castle, a dingy hotel, further from the town centre. We'd been transferred from non-smoking to smoking rooms. After some argument, we were instead transferred to the Metropole, a nicer hotel, and enjoyed our stay. Nevertheless, I wouldn't... more

We have just stayed at the savoy for the bank holiday weekend. The room 106 was in dire need of maintenance. The room although recently decorated had wallpaper coming down from the ceiling, the curtain pelmets were also hanging down and worse was the window in the bedroom it had no handles and had been sealed shut with ducktape. window... more

The Good Bit: Booked this hotel on Friday 23rd for Sat & Sun night stay (Bank Holiday Weekend). We paid £85 per room per night for a double & a family including breakfast & evening meal. This was excellent value - shop around the sites, some were selling at over £120 per PERSON, breakfast only. The hotel was OK. Had... more
