Having booked a family room at the Savoy ( 2 adults 1 child ) on arrival we were asked if we had booked a twin room, when it was quite obvious that there were 3 of us! The person on reception looked on the computer and we were told that a CAMP BED had been put into a twin room... more

Having read reviews on TRIPADVISER I still booked a short break at the Savoy. I was unable to get my sea-view room although I had paid a supplement for one. My SUPERIOR room was at the back of the hotel up a flight of stairs. The heating was not working and the old style TV had no remote control...the picture... more

We booked this hotel last minute, and for the price we paid £217 for two nights, expected a lot more than we were given. On arrival we were checked in quite quickly, but asked for payment upfront, when I questioned this, they said it was company police so i duly handed my card over (like you do). we proceeded to... more

First of all there was 29 of us, as of which they messed everybodys names up and the rooms, so we had to sort that out which took a long time, and after an 8hours journey it was rather annoying, the room its self was good, nice sea view only dissapointment was it was a disabled room which had a... more

Travelled with National Coach Holidays and driver of the bus was excellent. Dropped us at Pleasure Beach as we could not check in at hotel until 4.00p.m. When we went to check in our cases had been delivered to the outside of our rooms. Evening meal and breakfast was hot and excellent. All staff were friendly and efficient. Room was... more

I have just returned from a 4-night break at the Savoy in Blackpool. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would have no hesitation in staying here again or recommending this hotel to friends and family. The Savoy is very quiet and is located about one mile north of the Blackpool Tower, there are no clubs nearby, so there... more

Dissapointed to find there was only one small lift serving the entire hotel (max capacity 5 people, or less if carrying cases!) which only goes up to the 3rd floor, which made life difficult as our room (number 3371) was on the 4th! The room was clean enough, although quite small with little storage space and a TV plonked on... more

Stayed there for 3 nights, would probably not going back again as the cleanliness of the room is not what we aspected. Breakfast very normal, guess is very popular hotel for the retired. more
