We wondered on arrival why full pay was taken at check-in, but maybe we should have been warned by this. This place was filthy. Nothing was wiped.The bedding was dirty, the tables in the restaurant & lounge were dirty. The windows were disgusting. Our toilet was dirty. The staff were friendly but just not trained. Really enjoyed our stay at the Savoy, room 221 is a good-sized family room with one separate bedroom and a large bathroom. Not much of a view but the interior is well decorated and was very clean. We have just stayed at the savoy for the bank holiday weekend. The room 106 was in dire need of maintenance.
