In my opinion, Herons Reach is average, in comparison with similar hotels. We stayed for one night -DBB plus golf. Dinner in the Brasserie was good but breakfast was disappointing. The room is ok, not great considering it's a superior, but more than comfortable. The wine we were supposed to have on arrival wasn't in our room but was brought up promptly when asked for, but be warned..it's no vintage. Calling this a De Vere is pushing it a touch. If you were paying 50-60 quid for a night then fair enough, but charging over a hundred is taking the mickey.
