I felt like a long lost family member. Jon has created warm, friendly rooms and common space. He prepares great meals to satisfy everyone. Should you want a pint, a whiskey or some tea, he will serve them up with a smile. I honestly did not want to continue my travels but become a permanent resident.

i visited in nov last year and found such a high standard , both the accomidation and food and vewry helpful landlord i hope to visit in april and some other times this year thank you for making my stay such memorable weekend ed

The guest house had just been comletely refurbished to a very high standard. All furnishings and decor first class, far better that 3 star hotels I have stayed in in the past and very very economical I will not say cheap as that does not convey a good image but yes it is cheap in price but not in quality....
