A great little place. Wonderful hosts, professional, courteous and extremely helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, quality bed linens and furnishings. Great location, close to the tram stop. Nightly entertainment which is suitable for children and a nice comfortale lounge to relax and enjoy some reasonably priced drinks in. Look no further, this is the place to stay.

The owners really are, as expressed on all the reviews here, very friendly and helpful. Recommending good fish and chips, telling us where to go to see illuminations and answering any other questions. The hotel is in a great location, nr the central pier and tower but not too far from the pleasure beach. The bar/breakfast room is a pleasant... More

I am on my last night here after 3 great nights and days. (4 nights in total) As other people have said, Paul and Tony are great, they spent time with the guests, chat with them, make them feel at home. Well, it is home from home, i just wish i could stay longer. Rooms are clean and serviced daily,... More

We stayed at the Lichfield last night after booking it last minute. We visit Blackpool every year to see the illuminations and have had some truly awful experiences. The Lichfield is immaculately clean and the rooms are ideal. We had a family room with a very comfy double bed and bunk beds. The owner and staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable... More

Just returned from a great weekend staying at the Lichfield. It was the 1st time my husband & I had stayed there, but our friends had stayed many times before so we had a fairly good idea what to expect. Our hosts Paul & Tony are 2 of the nicest hardest working people you would wish to meet, nothing was... More

We knew not to expect the Hilton even though the prices weren't too far apart. What we did find were, amazing hosts Paul and Tony. They are the reason people give such glowing reviews, nothing is too much trouble for them.Their breakfast service is great, with good quality food. However I was not as impressed with the tiny room we had or the... We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us, Sorry to hear you won't be back to stay with us. Just back from a weekend break at the Lichfield and had a great time. The food was great and piping hot and plentiful. Tony and Paul are very friendly and know everyone by their first names. The only down side was the room was very small but having said that it had everything you needed and it was clean. I... More
