I have to say, this hotel was amazing! especially the guy who runs it... he was a legend! When we first arrived he pointed us in the direction of a car park, right around the corner, and even lent us the change so we could park straight away instead of having to run to a cash point first while leaving... Booked this hotel a few months ago, due to the great reviews on trip advisor, and seemed a bargain at £50 for a double room. The Carlton is ideally located for the winter gardens and any other attraction that may be going on , in the centre of Blackpool. We arrived 45 minutes early and was allowed to check in... More

Stayed for one night for a business trip attending the Blackpool Pride and Same Sex Dance Championships. The location of the Carlton is excellent for the Winter Gardens, town centre and prom. Nothing was too much trouble and Stuart kindly allowed me to have breakfast early as I had to attend a business meeting which was very helpful. Look forward... More

Stayed here last week with work and was very impressed. The location is excellent if your visiting either the main town, the tower or indeed the football ground. It is central to everything and is litteraly a 2-3 minute walk from the tower, beach and the central pier. The hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms are of a good standard.... More

We stayed 2 nights for a for a fitness convention at the Winter gardens, The Carlton is great location for the venue which is 5mins walk around the corner, easy to get to centre and restaurants. The main plus point for the accommodation is the owner, who couldn't do enough to be helpful and provides a good friendly service. Breakfast... More

Me and my parter love this this hotel and whenever we stay in Blackpool this is where we choose to stay, the rooms are immaculate, the breakfast is lovely and above all the owners are fantastic, very friendly and attentive.. They go out of their way to make sure everyone's needs are met... Would highly recommend this hotel!! :)

My husband and myself stayed at the Carlton with 14 others to celebrate our friend's 50th birthday. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner Stuart who couldn't do enough for us throughout our 2 night stay. Although small, the rooms were spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very tasty and was served at a reasonable time... More

We stayed 2 nights while attending a dance event at The Tower Ballroom and this was a superb base as it was less than 5mins walk away. The owners are a young couple who seem to be doing a good job here. Personal and friendly service, just what one would expect from a good B&B. Very good value at £50... More

Hotel does everything it says on the tin! Excellent location. Used for football weekend and 2 minutes from shops and 15 minutes from the ground! Just a shame my team drew..... Breakfast was nice. Staff very friendly. Parking 5 minutes walk away but seemed quite secure.

The family room, one single and a double was a small room for the three of us,we were squished into it. Bathroom small. Family that run this establishment hard working and very friendly. Clean establishment . Breakfast was suburb with a very eccentric lady waiting at the tables!! Also very friendly and a happy lady! You didn't have to ask... More
