We booked a last minute weekend away for Easter, got a great rate and on arrival received a warm welcome. Mary was very friendly an helpful. Room was clean and a great size for us and our son. Large cooked breakfast each morning with options of cereal and tea/coffee and juice great value. Central location, 2 min walk to central... More

We had booked February 13th-February 16th in Doric house over 4 month ago. we arrived on Friday and there was nobody there. We could not get hold of anyone and ended up stranded in Blackpool until other accommodation was found for us! Looking through the window it looked dirty and run down!

Stayed at this hotel 14th-16th November, there were 30 of us and we all had rooms near each other. The rooms are a little tired ,but what can you expect when they are booked continuously throughout the year, having said that our room was clean and so hot we had to turn the heating down. The shower was excellent and we had... More

I'm not really a one to complain about anything but thought some people may need to know how poor the service was in this hotel. When we arrived on the Friday the gentleman gave us our room key and off we went to check out the room in which we were staying for two nights, the room itself was actually... More

Stayed for 3 nights and overall you get what you pay for. Rooms are a little dated but very functional and clean, has everything you need. Located in a great central area, perfect for exploring Blackpool.

My wife and I just spent 4 nights here whilst attending the Rebellion festival. Nothing was a problem for the owners who were very helpful. No problems with the place, would recommend it. Blackpool Tower and the piers are all within walking distance. Plenty of cafes nearby.

We got a very warm welcome from Garry and Mary upon our arrival at the Docric house hotel. We had a family room with 2 double beds, which was fine for us. The rooms were clean and tea and coffee is provided in the room. The hotel is really close to the seafront and beach which good for the kids. The... More

First of all, to the miserable buggers that look for faults, don't stay here. If you can spend all your time finding fault with a nice little cosy B&B, I doubt the Ritz would be to your expectations. As I have said in previous reviews, this place is clean, comfy and near to everything. It must be doing something right... More
