Stayed here for 2 nights, and to be honest the only thing that kept us there was the bottles of Malibu we were drinking, certainly couldn't have stayed here sober !!. The lady who greeted us (greeted in the loosest sense) didn't say anything, not sure she could even speak English, finally got our room, which was on the top... More

The Alpine (an odd name in itself, given all pictures and theming is based around the Himalayas, given it is run by Nepalese) is substantially cheaper than many of the B&B's located in and around the Blackpool Water front, and is well served by Blackpool South Train Station, however you really do get what you pay for. Upon arrival, we... More

A friend & myself stayed here as everything else was taken and we were expecting to get what we paid for as we were going out and using it as a sleep source only. We arrived to find at 1pm to find the reception shutters down, with a sign saying to "go to the bar". We went to the bar... More

Booked this hotel quite late so there wasn't much choice available at the time of booking. Upon booking we emailed to see if we could possibly check-in early ( advertised check-in time states 12 noon). We didn't get a reply so arrived only to be told quite rudely that we couldn't get into our rooms until 2pm. Having finally checked... More

I stayed here with friends as a last minute booking. They charged us 40 a room for the night. The rooms as well as being dated, disgusting and not even having towels stunk of curry and fish due to the hotel being attached to a gurkha bar and restaurant. The halls were creepy and the decor out of a haunted... More

Gurkha buffet is amazing, good variety, attentive staff, the rooms old, smelly and just would not bother. Broken lamp, dirty bathroom, a washing bag left outside room with presumably dirty linen in, toilet seat broken and no refreshment facilities in room. Go for a meal there but do not stay there....trust me.
