Gurkha buffet is amazing, good variety, attentive staff, the rooms old, smelly and just would not bother. Broken lamp, dirty bathroom, a washing bag left outside room with presumably dirty linen in, toilet seat broken and no refreshment facilities in room. Go for a meal there but do not stay there....trust me.

Upon arriving at the hotel there was confussion over the rooms it took over 10 mins to sort out, when walking to the room the corridors looked very dated and untidy cleaning equipment was left unattended in the middle of the hall which we had to step over. When I got to the room the lock was broken on the... More

We booked this hotel out of lack of choice really as we left it late and this was one of the only hotels left. We had 2 rooms of 3 and a double room. So obviously I nearly died when we arrived, first impressions were that it looked run down and tatty externally and you step straight in to the... More

We arrived as part of a hen party and were asked to pay 200 pounds deposit "incase" of any breakages! Considering we had already paid in full i found this insulting! Our room was vile, smelt damp, was cold and grubby there was also no mirror near a plug! There was one in a cupboard and one in the bathroom... More

I had heard a lot about the Ghurka buffet and we love oriental food so we decided to try this place out. I am sure to some it would be quirky but to me it just looked tired and rather shabby. The restaurant was roasting hot and the tables were very close together so it was not comfortable at all.... More
