Stay here for one night so glad it was only a night. Booked room online, booking a double room. On arrival it took 20 minutes before we were handed the key to the room and told the room number. When we had looked at the room, we spoke the man that had given use the key about no bathroom, he... More

On our arrival, we was stuck outside the entrance for a good 15 minutes, in the wind and cold as they didn't even know we was coming. Once we had FINALLY been seen to, they accused us of only paying half the price and was therefore made to pay a further £180. Luckily we had the booking confirmation sheets with... More

To be honest the rooms weren't a huge problem other then the unwise, senseless and foolish decision made by the owner to paint the walls a white matte. Who in their right mind would do such a foolish thing. Upon departure my party discovered missing jewellery the owner seemed rude and couldn't care less, this was a major shocking let down.... More

Awful. No hot water. Arguments over deposits and damage which is now evident from these reviews we did not create. Not finshed on top floor. Walking into rooms without permisson. Stained sheets, only one pillow per bed. Most mattresses were broke or bodged together. The owner wasnt even there for check out and just left a not saying no deposit... More

Well, I was lucky enough to stay at the Wave Crest again yesterday evening. In the lobby it's evident that a phase of re-furbishment has taken place. There is a large hand painted interpretation of Blackpool tower in Art- deco style. All the walls have been freshly painted and spotlessly clean. The room was a delight with new appointed en-... Clean, tidy, past reviews not representative of friendly service we received. We were a 12 person stag group Yes he takes £20 damage deposit per person - but all returned without fuss. No different to any other place. Owner is friendly and provided good advice on areas to go etc. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to other stags hens etc.

Ok so we were a female hen party having paid £29 each we were not expecting much. However it was spotless and I am fussy. The owner was welcoming and friendly and very helpful in terms of where to go and what to see, he was more organised than us in terms of sorting us taxis out. At 2am he... More

Don't go .........simple as !!!! We felt ripped off from beginning to end, cold bedrooms, no heating, bare, worn carpets, less than appealing breakfast, accused of damage, electrics not working and dangerous, charged for parking. Don't know how he is still trading.

What you expect from a budget hotel in Blackpool. Staff are friendly, rooms are adequate and clean enough. This hotel was good for a low price range if you're not planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel. However, I would stay closer to the attractions next time.
