We stayed at the Cressington as a couple for the Blackpool illuminations and i have to say we had a brilliant weekend. The hotel is very nice and bedroom looked newly decorated, continental breakfast of toast and cereal was included which for the price we paid was very good. We also had an on suite which we wasn't expecting. Hotel... More

I have just recently returned from a weekend away from Blackpool on the drink and stayed at the Cressington and have to say i was very happy with my stay there. It cost 4 of us for 2 nights £100 which is very cheap compared to most of the hotels in Blackpool. The hotel has a very good location being... More

The bed was terribly uncomfortable it felt lumpy and felt like the springs was about to pop out anytime, I definitely had an injury from that awful bed the next day.. I didn't sleep all night either because there was a couple screaming and shouting and swearing at each other I actually felt quite scared and I would of definitely... More

we read the bad reviews but decided to go anyway as we thought it couldn't be that bad, the room was half price at hotels.com £29 reduced from £59. We arrived after we confirmed with the owner that we would be arriving between 2 and 3pm. there was no staff there to let us check in so we sat outside... More

We stayed at this hotel on Sat 16th Aug 2014, we drove past it twice because it looked like a derelict from the outside, anyway we thought it might be ok inside, how wrong we were. For £75 the night we stayed in a damp, dirty hotel, no bar open, no hot water, no toilet roll, 1 channel on the... More

After booking a different hotel we were told whilst travelling down that the hotel had moved and changed to the creasington hotel..after looking at reviews I thought is give it a chance..It is nothing like on the reviews..different owners..the place is a dump..smelling of dampness..it's an empty shell..was told only continental breakfast was on offer..but we paid for full English... We stayed in The Cressington for my hen do, and the staff were incredibly accomodating, good secure parking, excellent location on the front, brilliant breakfasts, good security and nice rooms. Have seen some other hotels which allow hen do's and they're awful, but this was lovely. Really recommended for groups of girls or friends.

The Cressington Hotel was clean and good value for money. The location was great. The breakfast was very good, but what really made it really stand out was the staff. They simply could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as it could possibly be! I stayed there recently on a hen do. Michelle recommended worthwhile activities, food,... More
