We stayed here last year and thought we would rebook again for this year, we arrived and the friendly man at reception checked us in and helped us find the parking space, the room was clean and tidy, it may of been a bit dated but we didn't come to spend all day in the room, breakfast is buffet style... Like everyone else arrived and no parking available the description on the net of this hotel make it out to be more than it is!! Two positive points bedlinen was clean and breakfast was good apart from that this place could do with a revamp and a manager who is more customer related!! I won't ever go back over priced... More

We arrived to find (like everyone else) there was no free parking spaces left and had to drive around to find one so don't rely on parking, I agree the hotel could do with a makeover and after reading reviews we weren't expecting too much, on checking in, we were lucky all the double rooms were booked so we were... After we stopped here 5 year's ago and found it great we booked this year for two nights. Got parked no problem but felt as the owner was not happy we had parked at the hotel as on leaving he told us people were cueing up for parking (9.25 on a Sunday morning really? ). We checked in and found... More

When our party of four arrived for a one night stay last Saturday we struggled to find parking. When we eventually did it cost £13.00. The last time I entered a hotel like the sunnyside was when I went to the tower of terror in Disney. You are greated with a musty smell and a variety of disability scooters when... More

Where do i start, £60 a night is expensive for what it is, when we walked into reception there was an awful smell like dead people this included in the landings, soon as i got in the lift it dropped down soon as you step inside doesn't look safe, the floor boards to the rooms are not level and so... We booked a small double room and small it was - exactly as described - £60 B & B for 2 - a bargain. It was beautifully clean; there were crisp white towels and extra pillows in the wardrobe which I found a godsend. Breakfast was unbelievable. I have received a lesser breakfast and worse service in 5 star hotels... More

The room was so bad that I had to sleep on top of the bath towel that I brought with me as there was absolutely no chance that I was getting under the covers. The room was only wide enough to accommodate a bedside table and the bed. Whilst having a drink at the bar we were having a competition... More
