Went to Blackpool for the RPRA weekend. As a base this hotel is ideal. Well priced, close to town centre, good breakfasts and warm and comfortable room... Not a fancy hotel but did the job for us... May not suit family holiday as you may require more of a family orientated hotel. Will certainly use the Alumhurst Hotel again

Went with another couple and were put in rooms next door to each other which was very considerate. Both rooms were clean and simple but had everything we needed and could want. Rooms were warm and cosy. Staff was excellent and helpful at all times. Breakfast was excellent and was freshly cooked and came within 10 mins which was amazing... More

When we arrived, late in the evening tired and cold after the pleasure beach we did receive a warm welcome and we're given the keys to... More

Me and my partner visited Blackpool for a weekend and stayed at the Alumhurst Hotel. It is very easy to find and about a 7 minute walk to the main promenade. We had a very nice welcome from the front desk and was checked into our room - we had a double room with breakfast at a very reasonable price.... More

Clue is in the title, when you pay cheap prices you can't expect too much! The hotel is in need of major refurbishment from top to bottom. All the carpets are old, marked and fairly dirty looking. All the picture and wallpaper are fairly ancient too. This does seem to be a standard in a lot of hotels in Blackpool... More

Was booked into this hotel with a group of girls, I actually chose. Not to stay the first issue was parking even though parking had been booked , when we arrived late at night there was none available apart from a dustbin area in the back alley where I would have to do a 100 point turn. After that first... More
