Stayed here for one night. Very friendly welcome, rooms spotless and clean. Breakfast was lovely, very attentive staff. Would highly recommend and defiantly stay again. Has a car park which is a big bonus.

This is the third time of staying and it was, as it has always been, a very enjoyable stay. There is no need to go out to find a restaurant when Pat & Steve have a wonderful chef who makes everything himself. Delicious bread rolls to his very own melt in the mouth shortbread. Breakfasts that can last until dinner.... More

I have just returned from my second stay at The Alumhurst. I was recommended this hotel when I decided to come to Blackpool at very short notice last year for the Dance Festival. I wanted somewhere to stay that was close to the Winter Gardens. It was easy to enquire online through the hotel website and I received a prompt... More

We stayed in one of the 70s themed rooms. The place is a good walking location from the main sights. Car parking - you need to ask for this- was free which was great. Bathroom was unfortunately a little dirty inside the shower cubicle and On the shower tap and the curtains let in a lot of light. Blackout lining... More

Hi all, just stayed at this place for three days to soak in the last of the Blackpool illuminations. Pat, the proprietress is amazing, her local knowledge of great places to eat is second to none. Room 22 was sufficient for my wife and daughter plus myself. The beds were very comfortable and warm. The breakfast girls and chef were... More

Recently stayed here for 2 nights. We booked a premier room (room 31), although the furnishings etc. were very nice it was small. However this didn't really matter for just 2 nights. We were on the top floor, luckily there is a small lift if you can't manage the stairs. The breakfast room is very nice and there's a great... More

We have just returned from our tenth year with Pat and Steve and as always the welcome, hospitality and service was amazing. The staff at breakfast were a credit to the hotel and Pat has provided yet another great tip for a fantastic meal out. This really is our little home from home and we would not stay anywhere else....
