We booked three double rooms for a 40th birthday local to the b&b and when we checked in we were met by Margaret who was very warm and friendly and booked us in very swift. Our room was No11 on the 3rd floor and was a large room with a double bed and a single bed bathroom was small but... More

Stayed for 1 night on Saturday 15th November, Loved this place. The owner is so welcoming and friendly. We booked the king size room, it was a great size, with a lovely comfy bed, a sofa and a tub chair. TV on wall was a bit small but we weren't bothered. The bathroom was small but all you needed for... More

We reserved the room directly over the phone which was easy. Parking is free outside, but spaces do fill up quickly and are rare. We were lucky to find a space just around the corner. The area was well presented and very quiet both during the daytime & evening. The B&B itself was very clean & tidy. Even though the... More

We returned back to the Sandalwood for the first time in 3 years. Excellent accommodation, we stayed in the family suite which had a double room and a smaller room with bunk beds for the kids. The breakfasts were great, Margaret will cater for what you want. Highly recommended and would definitely want to stay there again on our next... More

My boyfriend and I were booked to stay elsewhere but ended up booking Sandalwood on lastminute.com for various reasons- Literally booked it and checked in half an hour later. Because it was so last minute, we could only get a twin room, which we didn't mind, but when we arrived, Margaret (the lovely owner) jiggled things around so we could... More

Had a wonderful one night stay at The Sandalwood on Saturday night. The room was spotlessly clean, light and airy, nicely decorated and colour co-ordinated. The generous full English breakfast was the best we've had - not just in Blackpool, but anywhere! Would definitely recommend this B&B.

Sandalwood is a large terraced house that - like lots of other houses in the area - have been converted to a b&b. I'm therefore basing my comments on other b&b stays rather than comparing to what I'd think of as a hotel - places like Delta, Hilton, Westin etc. To make that comparison would be like comparing apples to... We stayed at The Sandalwood for one night as we were watching a show. We found the hotel to be very clean and quiet, the hosts are very friendly and helpful without being in your face, the breakfast was excellent. The price was very reasonable and it was ideally located for the North pier. We would definitely stay at The... More
