This place suited my needs perfectly. Having turned up in Blackpool with nowhere to stay (I was travelling to the lake district but needed to stop for a night to break up the journey) to find somewhere a few hundred yards from the tower, with parking, at a reasonable price was very pleasing. Bridget was very hospitable and my only... More

1. This establishment has only room for 3 cars. Not previously stated 7. We arrived to find a bollarded location next to 2 who had been parked with less than 3 inches between them. (Have photo). We could not park in the gap provided so was asked to park on the path to the rear causing. Then asked to hand... More

The triple room was tiny, no room to move. It should be a cheap double. Too many stairs, no lift. The breakfast was lovely, but the tea was poured for you from a big pot. The tea was stewed. This b/b is very good for the town centre. Lady serving was very nice.

Tiny rooms, terrible breakfast. Cheap poor quality ingredients! They didn't ask what we wanted for breakfast they just assumed we wanted cheap sausage, runny egg, cold toast etc. Coffee and milk in room disgusting. Over priced! Would not stay here again or recommend!

I travelled here with a group of 22 - hotelier, Graham, was most helpful with our large reservation. The smell of musty dog was the first thing to hit you in the lobbies and stairwells but the B&B had suffered a flood. The décor is very dated and the whole Hotel needs updating, our Room, room 8, suffered a great... More

We stayed here for a weekend in Nov 2013 with my parents and young child. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our rooms. The rooms were very clean, cosy but lovely and as you'd expect from a B&B. Breakfast was spot on (they even pour your tea for you, save it stewing on the table. .. nice... More

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. As anyone who travels to Blackpool knows it is hard to find a budget hotel with good standards. This is a lovely budget hotel. It is exceptionally clean and the staff are lovely. There are no sticky carpets or air fresheners. The breakfast was lovely and anything you wanted was on offer... More

The Southview Hotel was excellent! very good value for money. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The host was very cheerful, friendly and helpful. After sampling the breakfast on our first morning we very much looked forward to the following day! - Would highly recommend.
