first impression was the overpowering smell when the door opened. im guessing that it used to be a smoking hotel because it stunk of a mixture of old smoke and foist. the lady was friendly enough. the carpets in the corridors & stairs looks really old along with the wallpaper. i like retro buildings but this didnt look right as... Just back from a 2 night stay. Had a family room and a single room next to each other. Lovely owners and staff and very helpful. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. The rooms and the rest of the hotel was lovely and clean-and I am fussy about cleanliness! Would book this hotel again next time visiting blackpool.

This hotel is very clean with friendly welcoming staff. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast lovely with lots of choice, and Bridgette made sure your teacup was never empty. Short walk to the promenade and tower. I would recommend to friends and definitely use again. Thanks

We booked a family room, which was 2double beds. The room wasnt huge but was adequate for staying the 2 nights. It was very clean and decor was tidy and fresh. Its only a short distance to the main promenade and tower. Breakfast was good with several choices, attentive service. Would definetely stay again.

This place suited my needs perfectly. Having turned up in Blackpool with nowhere to stay (I was travelling to the lake district but needed to stop for a night to break up the journey) to find somewhere a few hundred yards from the tower, with parking, at a reasonable price was very pleasing. Bridget was very hospitable and my only... More

1. This establishment has only room for 3 cars. Not previously stated 7. We arrived to find a bollarded location next to 2 who had been parked with less than 3 inches between them. (Have photo). We could not park in the gap provided so was asked to park on the path to the rear causing. Then asked to hand... More

Suppose we got what we asked for in economy rooms , quite small really , I'm a large guy an my double must have been a very small double , Bridget the owner was very nice , breakfast was enough to get you started for the day , have to admit the stairs are hell , I was on 3rd... More

The triple room was tiny, no room to move. It should be a cheap double. Too many stairs, no lift. The breakfast was lovely, but the tea was poured for you from a big pot. The tea was stewed. This b/b is very good for the town centre. Lady serving was very nice.

Tiny rooms, terrible breakfast. Cheap poor quality ingredients! They didn't ask what we wanted for breakfast they just assumed we wanted cheap sausage, runny egg, cold toast etc. Coffee and milk in room disgusting. Over priced! Would not stay here again or recommend!
