A very friendly welcome and could not have been more helpful, kids very well catered for with xbox and hosts excellent - also suggesting restaurants and making travel arrangements. Would stay again - much more fun than a chain hotel and does challenge the old stereotype of Blackpool guest house.

Me and my children We enjoyed our stay at Shores Hotel. A warm welcome and great with entertainment for my 11yr old son and 3half yr old daughter, my son enjoyed most out of us all playing on Xbox and pool table.

I stayed here for a night before the Blackpool marathon and decided to bring my wife and kids along for a trip and was wary of some of the jokes I'd heard from colleagues about the standards of accommodation in Blackpool however The Shores was a lovely surprise and from the moment we met with Michael we felt at ease... Thank you very much for your review of our guest house, it is appreciated. We have only been in the property just over a year and have spent the winter months refurbishing etc for the coming year. Michael and Oskana really looked after us during our short break to Blackpool. Nothing was too much trouble. The room had been recently refurbished and breakfast a real treat. It was one of the best value for money hotels I have stayed in at Blackpool. Also a great location close to the beach yet quiet for a good night's sleep.

Hi Big G It was a pleasure to host you on your recent visit, and as you noticed we have nearly completed this years schedule of improvements, just awaiting the painter to finish the stairs before laying new carpets! So on your next visit you will again see a difference. Look forward to seeing you in May Michael & Oksana More

I was a bit wary of staying in blackppol, because all other hotels at a cheap price, that I had looked at you had to share a bathroom, and looked rather rough, but a friend found me this one, I only wanted to stay one night, it looked clean and you had your own bathroom, so I thought I would... We havent travelled to Blackpool for many years now, but the kids are older so we thought we would try the "family weekend" in Blackpool. Found this great guest house via booking.com, had a lot of good reviews and whilst everyone (apart from those that you can never please) said it was nice, friendly etc what swayed us was that...
