Been back a week from another pleasant stay at the "Sunnymede" I have been going for the past twenty years, always a warm and friendly welcome from Ange & Ray. Good tasty meals, clean room and comfortable bed. For me the hotel is ideally situated in a quiet street not far from the prom. And if you have trouble walking... More

On arrival found off street parking is a two car space around the corner and if your the first car there then you can't get your car out as you get blocked in by other cars. The room was very dirty. We found old tablets in the cupboard. Good job we didn't have kids. The bathroom had mould in the... More

Booked and paid for a double room in July to stay 1 night in September. Explained when booking that we would be quite late (arrived 8.30pm) and we would need off street parking. Angela confirmed that neither would be a problem and even confirmed this in writing when she sent our receipt. On arrival the door was answered by the... More

Just returned from our 3rd stay at this great little guest house. We both agree that the owners Ray and Ange deserve more than the 3* rating they currently hold. A warm welcome, nice room, very, very comfortable bed, lovely Tv lounge, and a delicious breakfast. What more could you ask for ? We will be calling them later today... More

We booked at short notice to meet up with family and found the owners to be very helpful in our needs of a suitable sized room for our two small dogs and easy access as my parter has health problems. Their is a stair lift fitted and although we didnt need to use this on this visit, its a good... More

My Partner and I return to this destination every year in time for the illuminations at Blackpool. I have been doing this since I was a little girl and my parents have also visited there since they were little with my grandparents. We have stayed at many different hotels and bandb's in Blackpool over the years but Sunnymede is the... More

when you consider the cost of taking a trip abroad as opposed to taking several short city breaks at home, there are very few places that offers the home from home feeling that we have found at the Sunnymede in Blackpool. The Proprietor Ray is on of the funniest people I have come across and his regulars consider him and... More

It was a cold and wintery weekend but we couldn't have felt more warmly welcomed by the fantastic Sunnymede Bed and Breakfast hosts Angela and Ray. The room was cosy and clean and the beds were so comfortable we almost missed breakfast time - which was also top notch! I don't often write reviews but came away from this B&B... More
