We were booked into another hotel as this one had shown as full when the rest of our party booked (booked at different times), when we go there, there had been a cancellation so we were given room 12 on the top floor. The old fella who runs it was great both at the bar on the Sat night and... More

We booked a family room for the weekend, when we rang the hotel to tell them we were going to be late, they said they had no confirmation of us booking. So we got in touch with Booking.com to see what had happened!!! The owner of the hotel somehow got offended by this, the following aggressive messages left on my... More

Stayed for a week with Wilf and Pat and had a great time. Very child friendly, clean rooms, good location for the Pleasure Beach, the Sandcastle and tram and bus stops. Great breakfast in the morning and low cost bar in the hotel. Will probably return if returning to Blackpool.

Stayed for one night with my friend and my son for his birthday in December 2013. Staff made us feel very welcome and even gave us some spare tickets they had to go to the tower and the dungeons. Breakfast was lovely, service fantastic.

I decided to stay over for the night in Blackpool with my two children - all last minute. We'd had a fantastic day in glorious weather and I just wasn't ready to come home yet. We turned up at the Granville who luckily had a vacancy. It was in a great spot for us, right opposite the south pier, so... More

we visited the granville after watching the tv programme, we expected a warm welcome but the owners are clearly fed up with their lifestyle. wilf told us about his collapses, breathing problems and heart attacks, its not the sort of thing you want to hear when you are on holiday, as for the room it was tiny you could not...
