Was quoted £180 for three nights paid a deposit of £90 when I arrived a week latter they charged me £!80 I pointed out I had already paid half and was told it was not £180 but £270, so it was a question of pay up or lose my deposit. Rooms in my opinion are barely adequate no heating through... More

I took my daughter to Blackpool last month and was going to stay at the Travelodge but decided to check out places on the sea front to have a sea view and be nearer to everything. After trying a few places that were full I pulled up at the Gainsborough. I was told the price was £60 and asked if... More

Dear Guest, I am very shocked to hear your review as I handled you personally myself. You viewed the room before you even paid any money whatsoever. If you were not happy then you could have mentioned it there and then. I am amazed that you think our hotel would even have the cheek to give you a room with... More

I stayed here on a Saturday night with my partner and 1year old baby and was dreading any hen or stag party groups. Luckily there wasn't, although they did put a group of pole in rooms at either side of ours who were obviously there for a drinking session. Some of them were bait noisy when they came home that... I was worried after seeing some poor reviews on here. However, myself and three friends had a really good time here! The staff were polite and helpful, one offered to tell us where was best to go drinking. Location wise it was great for the football ground, pleasure beach and town centre. The rooms were clean and tidy. My only... More

Myself and my husband have just returned from 2 nights at this B&B. it was nice and quiet on the first night, a little busier with hens & stags the next night. Owners/staff very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful breakfast, room was a bit dated but done the job... There was loads of mirrors in our room which makes a nice... More

I have never felt like anyone who could open, run, operate or work in a catering and hospitality role could be so disrespectful to their custom to what this hotel offers. Firstly old tired properties can be found in most areas these days and with independent hotels I can sympathise with not having the budget to renovate but this hotel... More

Worst place I've ever stayed! I can cope with old fashioned, unmatchable furniture if it was clean but the sheets were all stained! Also the carpets were not fitted right so could see grippers all around the edge of the room! I think the only reason people stay here is because it is on the promenade but u can get... More

well I think I must have stayed at a different hotel!!.... Firstly the management and family were really helpful and polite, they were always available, and spent the evening mingling with all the guests, the rooms are immaculate, not just the room that we had but Kuky, (The landlady) is so proud of her rooms she actually took us to...
