Myself, my mum and my 2 yr old boys stayed at the Gainsborough on Sunday for 2 nights. I must admit I was a little worried after reading the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The owners were really lovely and friendly and very accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, perhaps the only thing that bothered me was we... More

My parters and me wanted to spend some days in Blackpool. From the beginning we noticed that managers, a couple, weren´t very friendly. Room was ok, nothing special. But my surprise was when I opened the door and the ceiling fell down with light fitting. We went to the reception to talk to the them and they accused me to... More

Dear Sir, Firstly, I am very surprised that you decided to write a review after 13months of even staying in the hotel. I am the Manager of the Gainsborough and I clearly remember the scenario. Yourself and your partner checked into the hotel and you went into your room for 4 hours. This was plenty of time to bring up... More

I can assure you that the toilet was not "hanging" off in any way shape or form. Secondly, I can fully understand that... More

Dear Guest, I am very shocked to hear your review as I handled you personally myself. You viewed the room before you even paid any money whatsoever. If you were not happy then you could have mentioned it there and then. I am amazed that you think our hotel would even have the cheek to give you a room with... More
