Just back from a weekend staying in the St Elmo. Only came to see Cats at the Opera House (we had paid for our own tickets to the show) and the easiest way to get there was by coach tour. Can categorically say that we won't be staying in this hotel again. While the owner and staff we saw had... More

not the best little hotel, but by no means the worst. the owner was there all the time [and what a hardworking lady she was]. the room we stayed in was for three of us,quite small but liveable for a few days. we were very near to the south pier and pleasure beach. the best thing was the food was good,and... Worst hotel we've ever stayed at. After a night here you'll feel unrefreshed and eager to leave. The "lobby", if you can call it that, was locked upon arrival. When we made our way up some rather uneven stairs we found a curious number of rooms (despite the small size of the hotel). After opening the door to our room... More

Six of our family with 2 young children stayed dbb 20/21 June. The hotel is dated but that is not a problem. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. We had rooms next to each other which was good as the children liked to pop from one to the other. We had requested a vegetarian meal and were given several... More

On arrival I felt disappointed as it looks run down and in need of a major facelift, the interior again is very dated and a little rough round the edges but all in all was very clean.. my room was on the 3rd floor with lifts available that was fine, the room itself looked like it hadn't been hoovered for... Stayed here for three days traveled with Caledonian Holidays, the hotel is quite small but central to where we wanted to be. The rooms are a little dated but overall clean and comfortable. The food was really nice Evening meals good and the Breakfast too. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely be going back.

Me and my partner stayed at the st Elmo Hotel on a sat night for a little blackpool get away. I think we got the last room available and because of that we were in the ''broom cupboard''. The room was clean, but very dated. the bathroom/toilet was tiny so it was difficult to dry yourself in there. The bed... More
