A lovely little place with a convenient car park at the front and rear.An absolute bargain at 22 pounds per person including breakfast. The breakfasts were excellent properly cooked back bacon,2 sausages, mushroom, beans, egg, tomato and lots of toast on the side with butter portions so you can... Just returned from a few days break at the Lanayr. Host Alan is a true gentlemen and will do anything to ensure you have a good time at the hotel. As they say you get what you pay for, so I can never understand those who expect five stars for a budget hotel. Having said that we had a lovely... More

Allan was more than helpful, friendly and warm. He was a big part of my holiday. He can advise you on what to see and where to go. Rooms were warm and comfy. Very homely. Breakfast was first class. I am rather hard to please. But I have no complaints. I can only recommend with the certainty that you will... More

Very nice warm welcome, and the landlord remembered us from 2 years ago, the rooms were just perfect to what we needed, the breakfast was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a very good 3 star hotel, very good value for money would recommend

Smells musty when walk inside. Rooms very outdated and bathrooms are a laugh. Do yourself a favour and keep away so you don't wreck your time away. Good location but pity about the decor. Had smashed windows that wouldn't close and banged with the wind.

This was our first time booking at the Lanayr Hotel, but I'm sure that it won't be our last. We stayed for four nights, the breakfasts were first class, didn't need to eat anything else until evening. Alan who runs the hotel was very friendly and welcoming, and was a mine of information. Our room was clean, clean towels daily... More

Nice, clean budget hotel. Not quite The Savoy in London, but at these brilliant prices, what do you expect? Absolutely amazing breakfast in the morning and Alan and his assistant 'Bash' went out of their way to be helpful. Will definitely be back again.

We stayed in The Lanayr last weekend, for 2 nights, on "Christian's Stag Do!" Alan, who runs the place, is a star. The thank you cards around the place tell you all you need to know. The breakfasts are very tasty too......................... :)

Just stayed at the lanayr for another great weekend. Alan is a kind and caring man who goes out of his way to help .the rooms are cleaned daily. Ideally situated in the centre of Blackpool round the corner from Stanley club which is well worth a visit.
