Tastefully decorated and furnished, immaculately clean. Being an ex-Cumbrian, the copious pictures from the last century were fascinating. Newstead is a lovely B&B. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. The room we stayed in was huge and had a fab four poster superking bed in it and gorgeous William Morris soft furnishings.
