Stayed here for three days in September, 2013. Really nice welcome, couldn't fault anything. Would love to go back. It's the kind of place we could relax in, really impressed with the cleanliness of the bedroom and bathroom.

We arrived on possibly the hottest day for many years. We were greeted by Chris & Christine who remembered us from our previous visit last year which made us immediately feel very much 'at home'. We asked for the same room we had before and as before found it to be spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were first rate... More

Stayed here as partner competing in great north swim. The hosts were very welcoming and rooms very clean. My only gripe is they state they are renouned for their breakfast - really!!! I dont like full english breakfast so thought I would let them know so they didn't need to go to the bother of preparing one for me and... More

After a horrendous journey through rain and wind on our motorbike we finally arrived at Kenilworth Guest House to a warm welcome from hosts, Chris and Christine. Immediately offered to take our wet gloves to dry out for us. The Guest House is just a few minutes walk from the High Street and away from the noise of cars passing... More

I stayed at Kenilworth Guest House for the first time in 2003 with my sister and stayed again in 2008 with my husband and then again recently with my husband and daughter in the family room and it's always wonderful. The hosts Chris and Christine are very helpful and have a wealth of local knowledge - they recommended a lovely... More

The location of the guest house is very good. quite yet very convenient to the village centre. Host was very nice and helpful. I especially enjoyed the breakfast - freshly made and excellent in both quality and quantity. :)) The service I received was no less than a 4 star hotel!

I spent five weeks travelling around the UK staying mainly in B&Bs and serviced apartment, so experienced a pretty good range of accommodation. Kenilworth House was a really lovely place to stay. Very clean and bright, roomy rooms, great bathroom with good shower, lovely tea trays with decaffeinated tea selections, comfortable beds. Good location and quiet. Breakfasts were delicious and... Having spent a long time searching for somewhere that would satisfy our wish for a quiet, homely place to stay in the Lake District, I stumbled upon Kenilworth Guest House. After reading a large number of the reviews on here I realised that this was the place for us to stay. The reviews didn't disappoint. Everything good that you will... More

Very clean, tidy room, authentic and nice British breakfast. Hospitable host gave me weather information when I had my breakfast everyday and a lot of suggestions about where to go and what to see. All in all, a great experience!

Our family of four stayed for a quick tour of the Lake District before heading up to the Highlands. Chris and Christine were fantastic hosts and went out of their way to assist us. Thanks to their advice, we enjoyed a wonderful hike, boat ride and nice dinner in town. The rooms were neat and clean and the breakfast was... More
