My partner and I stayed at Mylne Bridge for 3 nights, and were delighted that it lived up to the reviews. As a B&B, it is one of the best I have stayed in, and the breakfast was superb (made with the finest local ingredients). Jim was also very knowledgable about where to drive to, and where to walk in... More

We had a well-appointed spotless second floor room for a four-day break. Jim took the time to explain where all the best restaurants are in the locality and all the breakfast options. Nothing was too much trouble for Jim and Lorraine. The house was quiet and relaxing. Lorraine did a great job in the kitchen as did Jim with serving... More

Jim especially, is a wonderful host offering a wealth of invaluable information about the beautiful Lake District. He is very generous with his time and knowledge and his assistance to us when planning our days out made our holiday a really enjoyable one. The... More

The reviews for Mylne Bridge House are well deserved and accurate. Jim was there to greet us on our arrival and explained everything about the accommodation and provided helpful local knowledge. By the way, the location is superb, ten minute walk to the cafes and restaurants, and twenty minutes to Bowness to catch a boat. Our room was impeccably clean... More

We recently visited this wonderful B and B and cannot praise it enough. From the moment you walk through the door it feels very homely and Jim is the perfect host. Breakfasts are out of this world both in the quality of the cooking and the choice available. You certainly don't leave the room feeling hungry!!! Lorraine is an excellent... More
