Can't rate this place highly enough. Linda and Stevie are both excellent first class hosts. Rooms spotless and very comfortable. Food was fabulous. The breakfasts that were served up to us were enormous and set us up for the day. Would highly recommend this to anyone considering a visit to the Lake District. We happened upon it by chance but... We stopped here on boxing day and it was fantastic. Lovely welcome and the rooms were spotless. There isnt a negative i can think of.

A short break with friends-lovely hostess, helpful and accommodating. Lovely clean and comfortable room. Would highly recommend. A big hus too for the lovely black labs-cheers Lorraine Prescott (Wirral).

My partner and I stayed at Adam Place for a weekend break. I would highly recommend it and totally disagree with Caroline from Melbourne. We stayed for 2 nights with our two children in the Gable End family room, the rooms were smart and very clean and the hospitality from Linda and Sue was Perfect. Tiny place, had to reach over other guests to get some cereal, kitchen door banged into my husband's chair at our breakfast table and dining room door would bang into myr chair. We asked for poached eggs and was told no, only scrambled or fried, only B & B to refuse poached eggs, what did they run out of water??????... More

The room was cozy, clean and comfortable. A delicious and abundant breakfast was provided. Linda and Sue were friendly and very attentive to making you feel welcomed and comfortable. We had a fabulous stay which added to our wonderful visit to the Lake District. We will definitely return to this B&B in future visits to the Lake District.

After staying at a lovely B&B in Edinburgh, we were disappointed in Adam Place Guest House. Very nice hosts, and satisfactory breakfast, but room was dingy and just so so.
