We have just returned from a lovely long weekend away in the Lakes and at Cragwood. We were greeted at the check in desk with a lovely warm welcome and were taken to our room. Wonderful stay and wonderful weather - so who can complain. Food was excellent. On our 2nd day we requested kippers for breakfast and they apologised they had none but ensured we had them the next morning. Staff went the extra mile with a smile. Only inconveniece was no internet in the bedrooms. Will return! more

From walking into the hotel, the staff were friendly, but not to full on.They let you know they are their if you need them, but leave you to relax.
