Mark & Jane were excellent hosts, full of great recommendations and advice, clearly very knowledgeable about the area. Just had the weekend at Thornbank, Mark and Jane couldnt have done it better, lovely friendly welcome and breakfast second to none. Guesthouse situated perfect for both Windermere and Bowness, really nice pubs and restaurants within a 15 minute walk
