A lovely house very handy for the local amenities of Windemere. The room was large, clean and with all the amenities you would expect and more such as a mini bar and flat screen television. It's rare you stay somewhere and it is prettier than the pictures, and better than you had expected. I stayed at Storrs Gate House after walking the Dales Way. The previous reviews cover it all - a perfect and relaxing hotel. It's only a short walk into Bowness either by the lake or road. We liked the pre-order for breakfast and great choice available.
