We spent 4 nights at Cambridge House over the bank holiday weekend. Debbie was so welcoming and indeed when we returned each evening we felt like we were 'going home'. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights early November. On first impressions, the building itself looks lovely. The welcoming from Debbie was very warm. The owners, Dave and Debbie were friendly and helpful. They lent us maps, told us the best bus routes, gave us ice for a sore foot, and packed us a lunch. They are quite knowledgeable about the hiking trails in the area.

Great welcome from Debbie at around 7:40pm Friday which wasn't a problem arriving so late. Parking permits available which was a bonus for the next day. Had a lovely 2 night stay at this B&B in the center of Windermere.
