Just spent a great week-end at the Damson Dene.The staff were polite,friendly and very welcoming.The food was great and it was nice to have the option to dine in the restaurant or in the bar/lounge.The grounds were very relaxing to either sit or sunbathe,and the use of the pool and facilities were very enjoyable.Thanks Wayne and to all your colleagues...

Saw the show in Australia and we had to visit, 100 pound for the two of us for dinner, stay and breakfast. We were met by Wayne who chatted about lots of things interesting to us, and it was a delicious evening meal. We had an nice stay chatting with other guests there and it was a very comfortable bed...

My partner and I have just spent three nights at the Damson Dene Hotel, the room was lovely with a very comfortable four poster bed, flat screen TV and a Jacuzzi bath, and whilst the hotel does look a little tired in parts, it's clean, comfortable and welcoming. If you saw it, this hotel was subject of a TV fly on the wall documentary series with Wayne the hotel manager at its centre. We have just returned from 4 nights at the hotel. We were on a cultural tour of the Lake District and were a party of 25. Everyone enjoyed their time at the hotel and particular mention was made of the helpfulness and cheeriness of the staff and the quality and quantity of the food.

We booked a one night stay at the Hotel after the t.v. documentary on channel 4, we were not let down. Located about 15 mins off the m6. Our party consisted of 3 adults and 2 dogs, we were given one of the small cottages, by the lake. which was perfect for our needs.
