We can hardly believe we have found such a gem. Everything about our stay at St John's Lodge from the warmth of welcome to the superb breakfasts was just right. So clean too. Sue, Barry and Julian were very welcoming. They made all our party fell like their home was our home. The breakfast menu was extensive and was displayed over three sheets of A4 paper and we defy anyone not to be amazed at the selection.The food was excellent and cooked to perfection. This fabulous B&B is perfect for a base in the Lake District for those who want to explore. It is wonderful motorcycle country, and everywhere is in easy reach from St John's.
