We changed from one hotel to this one. We got Room 21 which overlooked the lake. Staff very accomodating as we wanted any early check in - room was ready when we at 11.00am. We were warned there was a wedding on that day. Later on when we returned back to our room. We were greeted by the string quartet... more

Dear bollie67, Thank you for your comments. It is interesting to read how a stay at Storrs can develop. Most of our weddings are booked on an exclusive use, but sometimes we have smaller parties. For breakfast we still try to do service on an individual basis as we think it is more appropriate at Storrs and more appreciated by...

I had to be in the Lake District for a Saturday night and as unfortunately nearly all the hotels required a two night minimum stay , one night at an expensive hotel was the only option. At £150 + for bed and breakfast one would normally expect something a little special but Storrs Hall Hotel is trying to be a... more

I have visited the Lake District on many occasions and have always stayed in the same hotel. The hotel was in Bowness and cost a small fortune in a penthouse suite. This time I wasn't too happy paying the £300 they quoted and so started to look for an alternative hotel. With it being Easter weekend the Lakes were heaving... more

Dear Chelthewsporris from Manchester Thank you for your comments (and your photo). R31 is a non-lake view Classic room, a very popular room category within the hotel. If we can help you again with a future stay at Storrs, please do not hesitate to contact us. None of our rooms are the same, so there is still plenty to explore....

Dear RogerBarnes, Thank you for your positive comments. These will be passed on to all our staff, including our English Lakes Hotels central reservation department, which played a major role in your experience. Not everybody can stay in room 5, but all the other rooms have their own individual ‘character’, which adds (we think) to the charm of Storrs. It...
