We stayed at the Meadowcroft Country Guest House at the end of 2011 to early 2012. It was such a relaxing and wonderful experience. Only sayed one night but made to feel very welcome. The accomodation was spotless with excellent rooms, immaculate bathroom with great shower. We had two fantastic days at the Meadowcroft. The room was lovely and comfortable with a bath and a shower which was a delight. Breakfast (10/10) was delicious with as much cereal, toast and yoghurt as you could eat. Definately want to stay here again!

Easy to locate, friendly owners, pet friendly, nice clean modern rooms with bathrooms recently refurbished - amazing shower, breakfast rating 11/10, great value for money, if anything lets it down (and i am really picking at faults) would be that it is sitiuated by a main road so some traffic noise - not enough to spoil an overall fantastic stay.... Had a lovely stay at Meadowcroft. Really friendly and welcoming, couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended for those who are driving. Local pub serves great ale and food and is only a stones through away. The room was large and well presented and everything was immaculately clean. Will definitely be visiting again!
