Having quite a wide experience of AA / Michelin Star places, must comment on the outrageous pricing system of the wines at this LAKE DISTRICT hotel. Complete rip off. Hell on stilts. The service was slovenly and grumpy. Outrageous prices. Cliched decor. The gardens aren't up to much. The food poor. The actual hotel communal areas are tiny. The entire place is run to extract your cash. more
