Booked a single room, no ensuite, told there were bathrobes, still looking! No reception area, more like a bikers hostel than an inn, just a pub.charge of £60 a night for a room about 2 m x 2 m with only a bed. No room for parking cars. No reception, stood like an idiot with no body to check me... More

Nice friendly welcome, great location, lovely breakfast (although beans went missing on morning 2) and good food. Room was small but perfectly adequate. Only 2 small things I would change, better pillows and move the shelf over the sink. We stayed in rm 5, I thought it would be noisey being right over the bar, but it was fine. Parking... More

Myself and my husband just spent 3 nights at The Royal Oak Inn. We were very satisfied with our room which was ensuite with a super comfortable bed and nice views over the victorian roof tops of the lake and mountains. The room was clean and a good size with everyting you needed for a comfortable stay. The full english... More

I cannot comment on the food or accommodation. Popped in for a swift pint. I was the only person at the bar and waited over five minutes before someone appeared to serve me. When he appeared he was friendly enough. If you're going to stay here be warned that parking could be an issue, with only about 5 or 6... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with friends 5&6th April and had a great time. The location was fab and parking on site was so convenient. We just left the car keys for the staff to shuffle the car round as required and forgot about it until we came to leave. The rooms are on the small side but very clean... More
