Absolutely lovely B&B in a beautiful part of the world. Only a short walk to the main promenade. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable - very nicely decorated, the 4-poster mahogany room feels fit for royalty, well worth the money!! The staff are friendly and always happy to help with any request. I couldn't imagine a more perfect B&B!!!... More

Me and my fiance came to Windermere to get married and all the staff were very welcoming, The room was absolutely gorgeous and the four poster bed was very comfortable. There was a large selection of hot and cold breakfasts available which were very enjoyable There was also an honesty bar which i didn't think these kind of places still... More

Lovely luxury B+B with very friendly, helpful staff who were knowledgeable about the town and area. Nice rooms and a good breakfast. best bit - resident's lounge with big comfy sofas and an honesty bar was a great place to relax in when we came back in the early hours of the morning and fancied a nightcap worst bit -... I travelled to Windermere for a 3 night break with my wife and elder daughter. Beaumont House is a family run B & B in Windermere town centre. Denise and John make their guests feel like one of the family. The en-suite rooms are tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was the ideal start to the day and Denise always... More

We stayed here the weekend expecting a really good 5 star b&b. It is very well presented, lovely and clean and on first appearence seems great. When we got to our room there was an empty bottle in one drawer, the finish on the furniture was a bit tired and cheap (missing knobs, loose hooks - i fixed the two... More

I was very disappointed to read Ian and Sally’s review following their weekend break with us; apart from the bottle which Ian said was at the back of the drawer and could easily have been missed and for which I apologised immediately, they at no time over the weekend or on departure expressed their dissatisfaction. Comments sheets are available in... More

A perfect blend of modern facilities and traditional features, this provided just the antidote needed for stressful living. The room was luxuriously clean and comfortable, the breakfast had everything you could possibly want and the hosts were extremely welcoming and attentive but not invasive. A perfect base for a beautiful place to visit. We will stay longer next time More

I stayed here for two nights with my husband seeking a break away from it all for some peace and quiet. I have to say that the idea of this being 'guest accomodation' totally undersells this establishment, which is better than most hotels I have ever stayed in. We were upgraded to a spotless and beautiful four poster bedroom with... More
