We often stop here for bar lunches either inside or out on the terrace where you get fabulous veiws of Lake Windermere and even better view of the Langdale Pikes. The food is inexpensive but very good.

Room a good size but only because it was a slow night and we were upgraded to a ‘superiour’ room. Superiour in the sense of size but not of facilities. Very expensive for what it is.
